Sydney Support Group News

The first Friday of the month is sneaking up on us again, which means it's support group meeting time.

We hope you can join us at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse for our peer-to-peer support group meeting next Friday, the 3rd November 2017, from 10am till 12 midday.

This month we have Associate Professor Michael Buckland coming to talk to us. Michael will explain a little about what happens in the neuro pathology lab and what research is being undertaken at the moment. Michael is a great friend of our support group, he will fit right in.

I'll give a brief, hopefully not too boring, rundown of the COGNO conference in Melbourne that I attended this week. In a sea of scientists, professors and doctors it was good to represent the brain tumour community as a patient.

We'll also have a chance to chat with each other afterwards so if you have any questions, or anything you'd like to talk about with fellow support group members, please come along.

Here are some details to help with getting to the Lifehouse.

Meeting Time:
10am until 12noon
