CUREFEST 2016 - Save the date Sunday 25 September

CUREFEST 2016: Sunday 25 September Sydney Opera House

Founder Amanda Griffin has announced CUREFEST 2016 will be a candlelit vigil at the Sydney Opera House to raise awareness of  childhood cancer across Australia and internationally. Amanda wrote:

Last year Curefest Australia brought together 21 childhood cancer foundations, organisations and groups for the first time to speak out as one, powerful voice. As a national community, we intend to build on this success in 2016 and are confident the Sydney Opera House location will attract a massive increase of attendees and participants.

Let us embrace this fantastic opportunity to shine a GOLD LIGHT on Childhood Cancer.

We shall honour our children on a GOLD CARPET and ensure the GOLD RIBBON representing CHILDHOOD CANCER achieves the crucial recognition it deserves.

= Collaboration will ensure we become a powerful voice as we harness all our collective strengths.

= Unity will enable us to share and combine our individual efforts in the fight against childhood cancer.

= Solidarity will allow us to serve our children better.

This year, Curefest Australia for Childhood Cancer is going global, collaborating and integrating with CureFest for Childhood Cancer in DC for the first time.

As the leading cause of disease related death in Australian children, we need to make people aware of the urgency with which we need to tackle this national problem.

Together we shall accomplish international awareness for children affected by cancer all over the world.

We hope you will join us this Childhood Cancer Awareness Month as we stand as One Voice United Nationally and Internationally Against Childhood Cancer.
