May Brain Cancer Action Month
May 1, 2018 12:01 AM - May 31, 2018 11:59 PM

Brain Cancer Action Month

During the month of May our community focuses on raising awareness and improving treatment and support for those living with a diagnosis of a brain tumour. The month kicks off on Sunday 29 April with the 5th Footprints for Brain Cancer Family Fun Walk in Brisbane on 29 April. There are four brain cancer action information forums in May – in Newcastle (includes teleconference), Geelong, Melbourne, and Sydney. These forums are open to patients, carers, allied health professionals and other interested persons to find out what is the latest in treatment and supportive care. Maybe you can organise a morning tea in your area. Maybe you can take some quiet time to read through this newsletter. If you want to organise an activity in your area talk to BTAA – email chair@btaa.org.au or phone 1800 857 221
